Vision for Ghana and Senegal

Thank you for your prayers during the April West Africa survey trip! Engineering Ministries International would like to proceed with a West Africa presence in both Ghana and Senegal. We plan to locate expat families in Dakar, Senegal as a regional office. We are also eager to see Ghanaians continue to combine their design professions with missions, so I will likely be back in Ghana often helping with projects and organizing local design professionals. Please continue to pray with us for leading and vision for using design in West Africa for Christ's glory.

Some reasons we are choosing to base our expat team and regional office in Dakar are as follows:

  • Physical and spiritual needs in Senegal
  • New international airport opening outside Dakar
  • The necessity for our team to learn French, enabling greater access to Francophone West Africa
  • Good schooling options for expat missionary kids

Sharing God's Love in this City

I've recently been connected with a team that is initiating conversations with West Africans who live in northern Paris. Pray with me that God speaks through us and that Christ is glorified more in this city as we go out sharing testimonies and Bible history.

Preparation to open EMI's West Africa Zone Office

Our team is returning to Senegal for a week at the end of August to prepare and connect prior to registration next year. Please pray that God continues to lead us and give vision for this office to serve West Africa. Would you be willing to partner with a special gift to cover my transportation costs to and from Senegal for this trip? Eternal Life

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (1 Jn 5:20)

It is incredible how God sent His Son to dwell with us on the earth and to make a way for us to be with Him forever. Do you know the Son of God: the Way, the Truth, and the Life? As God reveals truth and we accept Jesus, He offers us eternal life and more knowledge of Himself so that we worship before Him. How great is our God!

Prayer & Praise

  • Praise God for partners to cover tuition and increased living expenses in France this year!
  • Exalt the Lord for West Africa launch team unity on selecting Dakar, Senegal for regional office location.
  • Pray for the upcoming EMI Senegal vision trip in August.
  • Praise God for friends and community in France and at language school.
  • Pray that God raises up prayer & financial partners for West Africa.
  • Pray for EMI Ghana vision to encourage and organize design professionals there as they integrate design and missions.
